Three Plus Three Program

Divinity School Accelerated Partnership Program

Save time and money on divinity school with a combined three-year bachelor's degree and three-year seminary degree! Saint Paul's school partnership program allows students to condense their four-year bachelor’s degree into three years of coursework at Kansas Wesleyan University (KWU) or Oklahoma City University (OKCU). The final three years are completed as a Master of Divinity degree at Saint Paul School of Theology.

Students complete three years of coursework for their Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry at KWU. The final three years of this school partnership are spent at Saint Paul's divinity school to achieve their Master of Divinity degree.

The Christian Ministry major at Kansas Wesleyan University prepares students for full-time ministry in an environment that encourages the interaction of faith and learning. It combines a practical internship experience under the guidance of mentors with coursework in four core areas:

  • Bible
  • Religion
  • Philosophy
  • Ministry
  • Educational and Social Sciences.

The university has a vibrant campus ministry program including Tuesday Night Alive weekly worship, student-led bible studies, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Upper Room Ministries young adult discipleship program. Experience a free Wesleyan Journey course for academic credit that incorporates intentional service and travel, domestic or abroad.

Complete three years of undergraduate studies as a Religion Major at Oklahoma City University. In your fourth year you can begin your Master of Divinity degree at Saint Paul at OKCU. Enjoy continuing your education on campus without having to relocate!

The Religion Major at the undergraduate level has meaning and value for anyone who wants to understand religion in its several dimensions. It is particularly useful for persons planning to enter the Christian ministry, Christian education or other church-related vocations, or pursue graduate work in religion. Studies in the major field, along with courses in English, history, philosophy, the social sciences, and various electives will give the student an excellent background for entrance into seminary.

Undergraduates may also apply to participate in the World House Scholars program. Divinity school students participate in service-learning projects; complete courses addressing issues of peace and non-violence, social justice, and ecological sustainability; and complete at least one approved international education experience.
