Note to Participants:
Since part of this session is being held off-campus at the Kansas City Zoo, there was a limit on enrollment and tickets have been pre-purchased in advance (the rate is the same even if you have a membership card, which will not be needed). The cost for admission to the zoo is included in the price for this course, but does not include transportation on the tram or train, so please wear comfortable walking shoes, as moderate physical activity will be involved. This class will begin in Rogers Hall, located upstairs in the Holter Center at Saint Paul School of Theology. For the second half of the day, each person will be responsible for his or her own transportation to the Kansas City Zoo, where we will end the day.
Schedule for the Day:
8:45 Registration/check-in begins in Holter Center lobby
9:00 Welcome; class begins in Rogers Hall
11:30 Travel to Kansas City Zoo (each person responsible for their own transportation to and from the zoo)
11:45 Check-in at KC Zoo and pick up box lunches
12:00 Lunch in picnic area of your choice
12:45 Class continues, meet promptly at Clock Tower
3:00 Depart KC Zoo
