Kansas City, MO--Saint Paul School of Theology announces that Rev. Dr. Steve Breon, MDiv '80, has been named as Interim Director for the Saint Paul School of Theology Course of Study program. Breon will work as Interim Director while continuing to serve as senior pastor of Platte Woods United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Steve Breon has pastored multiple churches across the state of Missouri. He served in Joplin and Raymore and was founding pastor of St. Peter United Methodist Church in Blue Springs. Breon was District Superintendent of the Southeast District of the Missouri Conference for two years. He the immediate past Board of Ordained Ministry Chairperson.
Breon graduated from Baker University, Saint Paul School of Theology and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Dr. Breon has taught on the faculty of the Saint Paul Course of Study program. Classroom experience includes classes such as The Pastor as Theologian in the Wesleyan Spirit and The Wesleyan Movement. He began his duties today.
