A stroll through most any world-class museum always reveals a strong presence of the Bible's influence on various pieces. Knowing the biblical stories behind various sculptures and paintings can enrich our experience of the art, but the opposite can also be true. In this interactive session we will tour the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art to see what creative understandings might emerge.
Note: Participants should choose between two sessions, each limited to 15 persons (10:00 a.m. - noon or 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.). Please wear comfortable walking shoes. The cost is $30 per person. For those who wish, a table has been reserved for both sessions to eat together in the Rozzelle Court Restaurant from 12:00-12:45 p.m. The average cost is $10-15 per person. There is also a $5 parking fee for those who use the museum's parking garage.
