A Collaboration between Saint Paul School of Theology and The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection
Saint Paul School of Theology, in collaboration with The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, offers a unique semester-long, intensive program of study in church leadership, evangelism, pastoral care and discipleship.
Two classes of Resurrection Scholars have now completed the program. A third class has been selected and will begin its work in Fall 2013.
Applications for Fall 2014 will open February 3, 2014
Enrollment or acceptance to a Master of Divinity degree program at a seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada.
Submission of application to Resurrection Scholars at Saint Paul School of Theology.
Submission of two letters of reference:
A letter sent by a professor who knows your work
A letter sent by a lay person, pastor, or supervisor. (Applicants are requested to waive their right of access to recommendations.)
Submission of an official seminary transcript (if currently enrolled in M.Div. studies) or transcript of prior academic work and letter confirming admission to M.Div. degree program.
Personal interview with the selection committee for Resurrection Scholars at Saint Paul School of Theology (dates to be announced).
Enrollment in Fall 2014 for at least six semester hours of seminary courses, including CHL 316 Exploring Models of Ministry.
Full participation in a 15-hour minimum weekly practicum at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas.
