I have been called to educate leaders, both lay and ordained, to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Embedded in that ministry is the task of fostering moral discernment with an aim both to renew the church and transform the world. I understand all of my scholarly activities -- my teaching and research projects -- to serve this vocation.
