Educational Effectiveness

Institutional effectiveness at Saint Paul School of Theology is measured through the following key elements:

1. Academic and administrative goals and outcomes consistent with the mission and values of Saint Paul School of Theology;

2. Implementation of an institution-wide assessment plan that measures achievement of the academic and administrative goals and outcomes;

3. Use of assessment findings to improve programs and services;

4. Compliance with the standards of accreditation of The Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools

Educational effectiveness at Saint Paul School of Theology is measures through the following program standards:

1. 75% of MDIV students will receive the notation "MDIV appropriate" or better on at least five of the six program student learning outcomes in summative course assessment.

2. 75% of MACM students will receive the notation "MACM appropriate" or better on at least five of the six program student learning outcomes in their creative project course assessment.

3. 90% of MATS students will receive the notation "MATS appropriate" or better on at least two of the three program student learning outcomes in their thesis course assessment.

4. 80% of DMIN students will receive the notation "DMIN appropriate" or better on at least four of the five student learning outcomes in their thesis course assessment.
